I’m trying to get ahead by joining WW again next week so I can at least maintain through the holidays and then get in lose gear again in January. I’d like to take off 14 or so pounds!

I know a few people who have joined WW early to get a head start!

I recommend getting a cheap food scale. I got mine for $5 and it works well. Measure everything out!

I don’t make New Year’s Resolutions because I can’t keep to them. I rather leave it.
Very good list at how to start losing weight. I like it that you say that you don’t need to become a gym rat to exercise. I exercise entirely at home and till date lost 44lbs in 3 months with home exercises.

I loved your post on MizFitOnline today. Thanks for sharing! I’m almost to the point of maintenance after losing about 70 lbs. It’s been a bit of struggle getting through this holiday season, but I want to come out on top! 🙂

Last year, my resolution was to try a new healthy recipe every week. It definitely helped my diet plans. It lasted about six months which I thought was impressive for me.

I think this year’s resolution will involve movement instead of diet. I want to train for a big event in 2011 (I’m thinking 10K or half marathon). I don’t know what that is yet, but I think this will be involved in the 2011 resolution.

I think a 10k is a great goal to have. I think I will have a similar goal (if my injuries heal).
