This time last year, Portland had a big ice storm. Lots of damage, lots of people lost power for a really long time. We lost power for over 3 days. This year? Sunny and 65!
Saturday we went for a “hike”. I call it that because…yeah, at 38 weeks pregnant I am not moving fast. We did this one in Lake Oswego. It was close enough to home (just in case) and partly paved, looked like it was a nice walk in nature, good for Logan and Bella.
The wind was a little bit chilly! The hike started at the top of the mountain in Lake Oswego. There was a small parking lot near the tennis courts and a map of the trails but they weren’t clearly marked. We just kind of wandered around a bit.
It was mostly downhill and very steep. There were a lot of people out walking their dogs on the trail.
At the bottom of the trail there was a small park and Logan played for a bit before we headed back up.
The walk back up was STEEP! I was slow. But it was ok. I made it. 🙂
We got burgers from Little Big Burger nearby and took it to go to another park. It was perfect–there were picnic tables and lots of toys for Logan to play on. We had a nice picnic lunch before heading back home. It was so nice enjoying the sunshine!!! Especially since it’s probably going to end soon and be 3 months of rain…

I got very excited there for a minute. I have been checking in each morning, very happy for you.
But at 60, also glad to be able to sleep thru the night. (Puppies are now 9 mos old, for a while there I definitely remembered life with babies),

Isn’t sleeping all night nice? LOL
