How’d I do for my August Goals?
August Goals
1. TRAIN FOR HOOD TO COAST.
2. Survive Hood to Coast.
3. ENJOY Hood to Coast.
4. Recover from Hood to Coast.
I think I can say I successfully trained, survived, and enjoyed Hood to Coast. I am slowly recovering from it. The good news: My legs healed REALLY quickly. The bad news: my chest pain is still hanging around.
It’s now September and time to think about some new goals.
To be honest, not having something EPIC and HUGE to train for, leaves me a little baffled as to what to do!
I’ve decided that I cannot do the Las Vegas Half Marathon this year. I recently posted that I was torn about whether or not to sign up. There were a lot of pros but the cons significantly outweighed them. I just don’t have the money to do it this year and honestly, I think my body needs to rest after Hood to Coast!
My Goals for September:
1. Do some research for a 5k or 10k to do this Fall.
2. Recreate the recipes Michael and I learned at our Tapas cooking class.
3. Plan with Michael what cycling events we’ll do in 2011.
4. Lose 3 pounds.
I like my goals for September. I think they are doable. I haven’t been trying to lose much weight this summer because I was more concerned with my training and being prepared for H2C. Now that that’s over and I have no immediate training plans, I think I can focus on trying to get back on track with my food.
Now my body needs to cooperate!

I dont really have month to month goals, I guess just to keep surviving marathon training!

I did medium-well in august. Im just starting out so Im just slowly begining to incorporate exercise and more healthy choices. My goal for september…hmmm….to try 4 different classes at the gym.
