      I STILL haven’t tried a Spin Class. One of these days…. 🙂

Isn’t it amazing how a good workout can leave you more awake than you were before starting? I wake up at 5:45 every morning to go to the gym at 6:30, and I go there exhausted, and leave feeling energized.

I recently added a couple new machines to my daily routine, to help get some strength in my arms. I started using the chest press and the bicep curl machines. Both of them give me some trouble, but I will get used to them by starting off slow and working my way up.

On a side note, your green watch thingy. Is it a watch or is it just a wrist monitor? Also, where did you get it, because its cute 🙂

I need to start doing the chest press. I always THINK about doing it, then chicken out. 🙂 The watch is a Polar heart rate monitor. There’s a chest strap that analyzes your heart rate and tells the watch how many calories you burn. It’s fantastic! Get one. It makes a huge difference for working out.

Aww you should try it when you get a chance. I was afraid of it for a while, but I just sucked it up and started using it. Granted I am at 20lb right now, but I am working up to higher weight.

And thanks for letting me know about the monitor! I will check it out 🙂

Way to go on the run! It’s the best way to increase energy. Hopefully you will sleep great tonight!

I exercise so much better outdoors. I get my self to one location and then have no choice but to return, in a gym I quit easily.

How do you handle the sweaty-at-work bit? Do you guys have showers? I’ve yet to work for a company that has a gym 🙁 I’m gonna have to add that to my list of requirements.

I am lucky to have a locker room at the office where I can shower and clean up! It’s a must!

Great job! I seem to have better runs on the days I REALLY don’t want to go. And I’m so jealous you have an office gym.

It makes it hard to give up, that’s for sure. If I ever change jobs it’s high on my “must haves” list.
