This is a great post, I liked seeing your progress weekly, I am looking to do that on my blog too, my husband has started tracking with me and with that help it really doesn’t feel like work so far.. we are only 3 weeks in šŸ™‚ he is even losing to. Thanks for sharing.

After awhile it becomes second nature and you are right, it doesn’t feel like work.

I still haven’t gotten on twitter – but I love Instagram! I love the little snap shots of the people I follow that have a balanced life style – they will post coming out of an hour yoga, the next picture will show them eating a healthy salad with a glass of wine.

I’m new to instagram! I do like seeing the little snipets of people’s life too.

Good point about social media – it can go both ways. You may find people who are supportive of you, which is especially important when those around you in “real life” aren’t, but you may also go down the wrong track, as seen with those many communities where anorexic girls “support” one another.

I also have to admit that I never quite warmed to social media that much, especially Twitter, Instagram et al. It makes me feel like I get all those little snippets of other people’s lives, but never a complete picture of the true person behind all the tweets, pictures and what have you.

Yes, it can definitely backfire if there is disordered thinking.
