So I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t get a medal after crossing the non-existent finish line for the Portland Century last weekend. It seems like a small thing, but I kinda wanted that medal. Sure I bought a t-shirt to celebrate but it’s not quite the same.
I saw that Shutterfly was having a promotion for their photo books. My friend Rachel made me a photo book for Christmas years ago with all our pictures from our Chicago vacation. I love the book! It’s such a cool idea. It’s a good idea for baby shower gifts, birthday presents, and just if you want to celebrate something important…like a bike ride!
I like the idea of having a little book with all my photos from the Portland Century in there. In fact, I should do it for Hood to Coast too. Once I went to digital pictures and moved in with Michael I stopped getting prints of all my photos. I miss having photo albums and scrapbooks but I just don’t have time to make them anymore.
To commemorate biking 72 miles for the first time, I’m going to have a book made so I can always cherish photos likes these:
I need to get a sharp looking jersey like that guy above. 😉
Speaking of quirky…I opened an email from the Portland Century a few days ago and had quite the surprise…I was skimming the email about the survey, the flickr photos and then at the bottom I saw THIS GUY!
HA! They’d chosen some of my photos that I took during the Century and included them in the emails! That’s Michael! He’s famous. Too funny.
QUESTION: How do you store your photo memories? Album? Scrapbook? Online?
Eleah
Ha! That’s awesome. 🙂
