Now I need a place to wear these babies…..
I just had to share my find today. Not only were they on sale, I had a 15% coupon. These awesome shoes were $25! Double score.
I’ve had a great weekend! Friday night I had a great swim and then I met Michael and his friend in Sellwood for Mexican Food. His friend Jeremy is staying with us for two weeks while he finds a place to live (after living in Ireland for 5 years). I ate half of my beef enchilada and took the rest home.
Saturday I woke up early and got in a good gym workout before the rest of the day’s festivities began. (More on that tomorrow.) Michael and I went out to lunch at Pizzicato on Saturday (I had 1 slice and a salad). I didn’t realize we ate out twice this weekend until I typed that. Ooops.
This morning my swim was not great. I was feeling good and got to the pool early to find it empty but my chest tightness returned in the pool. I’d forgotten my inhaler at home so I was out of luck. I struggled the whole time but finally finished my swim. Ugh. Note to self: always bring inhaler–no matter what. The rest of the day was spent in a lazy fashion: leftovers for lunch, yard work, errands and shopping. If you’re looking for a good movie to rent, check out The Town. It was so good!

I finally got to try Bamboo Grove for Hawaiian food–DELICIOUS! The rest was spent in uber-relaxation/lazyness!

I have small narrow feet! But they are kind long. So it’s hard to find shoes that fit right.

Look at you with yo beautiful new site!! And them shoes – to die for woman! And where do you intend to wear those man killers?? I had a great time relaxing in Santa Fe as I told you…. I think the highlight was getting totally loaded Friday night for the first time in several years. Tequila + wine = fine time 😉

Tons of history, galleries, shopping, museums. It’s a place where you don’t need a car if you stay near the Plaza. Awesome architecture and atmosphere. Recommend!

Highlight of the weekend was scarfing veggie sandwich (oh my God, I was so hungry I thought I was going to faint) in our soon-to-be Portland condo. 🙂

The shoes I originally wanted looked just like those but in pink. They didn’t have my size though. They were a tad stripper-Barbie-ish but I kinda liked them. I kept trying on the silver ones and the grew on me. I like them better than the pink I think. There’s enough color variation in the sequins that I can wear them with almost any color I think.
