Confession: I’m in a cranky mood today. No reason. Hormones probably. To get out of my “funk” I went for a short walk through the park at lunch today.
I feel like it’s been a really long week. And I wish I could take a few days off from work to de-stress. I foresee this weekend being just as busy as every other weekend. I feel obligated to train hard for Reach the Beach as well.
I’m also craving chocolate like mad. Yesterday AND today there were donuts at work. Confession: I ate 1/4 of a donut yesterday. It was good. And today I ate a 1/4 of a donut as well. Even worse confession: today’s donut was kind of stale but I ate it anyways. SIGH.
While I was walking, I passed by Cupcake Jones.
I stood at the window and drooled a little bit.
It’s taking everything in my power not to eat another stale donut. 😉

What wasn’t my confession!?
This week was a horrible food week but that happens.
My less than stellar food decisions:
– Beef burger (not boca)
– Two twix bars
– Full fat ranch on my salad
– McBreakfast
– Italian food in butter & cream sauce
That’s all I can think of. I’m not beating myself up, I figure I will see tomorrow at Weigh In the impact of my eating habits this week and then be back on the wagon next week. Sometimes you have to indulge. 🙂

Slowly But Surely
My confession is that I was a LAZY BUM this week. Plus, I ate a lot when I wasn’t even hungry. I hate it when I do that!
I looooove Cupcake Jones – the tiny cupcakes are always super tasty, yet just enough to get rid of my cupcake craving. I probably eat a tiny cupcake from there once a month. The s’mores ones are my favorite!

Okay, now I must have a cupcake! S’mores? It sounds wonderful! I had a bite size cupcake at a friend’s baby shower last weekend and it made me feel like it didn’t “count” because it was so small. Haha!

I’m feel hormonal this week too. That was why I made banana bread, and tried to make it as healthy as possible, so that I wouldn’t feel so guilty for eating it. I needed something sweet and good.
Confessional: the last pieces were eaten by Ryan and I tonight and I put butter on mine.
Also, after my run on Sunday, I will have a donut, it is sponsored by Top Pot Donuts and they are giving them out free at the end.
I never did make it to Voodoo in Portland, 🙁
And……those cupcakes look GOOD, I wouldn’t mind scarfing one down right now.

My confession is that yesterday (which was my ‘splurge day’) after eating single serving ice cream and a cookie at the grocery store, I still got a candy bar later. Those are my old habits, picking up chocolate bars when I go to grocery or drug stores. It was splurge day but did I really have to splurge 3 times?
